The Foundation of a Lasting Landscape

Retaining walls do much more than hold back soil. They create structure, elevate design, and unlock the full potential of your outside space. At Bahler Brothers, we build retaining walls that blend durability and craftsmanship, all designed to withstand Connecticut’s freeze-thaw cycles.

From structural walls, tiered design, or a decorative garden wall, we do it all and make sure it complements your home’s architecture and enhances your living space.

Why Choose a Stone Retaining Wall?

Retaining walls provide structural support that prevents erosion and helps manage water flow on uneven terrain. By ensuring that the proper drainage is taken into account, we can build retaining walls of any size that will last for decades.

Our walls aren’t just functional though. They add texture and definition to your landscape, creating planting areas, sitting walls, and transitions between levels.

Bahler Brothers did a really nice job replacing our front steps. Original steps were concrete and the entire structure was tilted forward. In one day Bahler removed the old steps and replaced them with granite steps. And despite using heavy equipment, there was minimal damage to the front lawn. Our neighbors used them for a major project and recommended them. Their prices were fair, and we will definitely use them for future jobs - no hesitation.

Sam and his team repaired and extended our patio. Blending old pavers with new pavers was tedious, but they were patient, flexible, diligent, and professional. They definitely earned our trust and appreciation.
