A Landscape Plan That Doesn't Leave You Guessing
Most homeowners don’t want to think about when their beds need edging, or when the weed preventer should be put down.
At Bahler Brothers, we build your property into a seasonal schedule so pruning, cleanups, fertilizing, and mulching happen on time, every time, every season, without you having to call and remind us.
If your yard is in decent shape and you want to keep it that way, this plan is for you. If it’s more overgrown than that, we also do full property resets.
Please note, we do not provide lawn maintenance, such as lawn mowing, or snow removal services.
What's Included in a Bahler Brothers Maintenance Plan
Every plan follows the same rhythm your property actually needs through the year. Spring gets things cleaned up and reset after winter, summer keeps growth and weeds in check, and fall preps everything to go dormant the right way.
In between, we’re back on a monthly or bi-monthly basis so nothing gets a chance to fall behind. Here’s what’s covered in each visit.

Spring Maintenance Plans (April/May)
- Pruning — touch-ups and removal of dead or winter-damaged growth
- Bed edging (3–4″ depth)
- Cleanup — bed-specific or full property
- Weed preventer application in beds
- Fertilizing all landscape plantings (10-10-10)
- Straightening lights as needed
- Mulching — 3–4″ for new installs, 1–2″ for ongoing beds
- Final cleaning of driveways, bed edges, patios, decks, and doorways
Each maintenance plan includes an additional year of plant warranty coverage.
Summer Maintenance Plans (July/August)
- Pruning of spring-flowering plants and evergreens
- Weeding — hand and/or spray
- Cleanup — bed-specific or full property
- Weed preventer application in beds
- Final cleaning of driveways, bed edges, patios, decks, and doorways
Each maintenance plan includes an additional year of plant warranty coverage.
Fall Maintenance Plans (September/October)
- Pruning of summer and fall-flowering plants, grasses, and perennials
- Cleanup — bed-specific or full property
- Fertilizing all landscape plantings (Plant-Tone)
- Water feature shutdown and cleaning
- Final cleaning of driveways, bed edges, patios, decks, and doorways
Each maintenance plan includes an additional year of plant warranty coverage.
Monthly/Bi-Monthly Maintenance
- Doesn’t replace spring, summer, or fall service — it’s what happens between them
- Ongoing pruning and deadheading, weed management, and general cleanup so your property never falls behind

A maintenance plan covers the core seasonal work, but plenty of properties need a little more. These are add-ons we can build into your plan or handle as a one-off, depending on what your landscape calls for.

Common Questions About Maintenance Plans
Do I need to sign up for a full season, or can I get a one-time cleanup?
Not necessarily. We also offer one-time cleanups for properties that just need a single service, rather than ongoing care. That said, clients on a maintenance plan get the added benefits, such as the extended plant warranty, so it’s worth asking us which option makes sense for your property.
How often does someone come to my property during the season?
Between your spring, summer, and fall visits, we’re also on-site monthly or bi-monthly from April through December for onging pruning, weeding, and cleanup
What's the difference between a maintenance plan and a property reset?
A maintenance plan keeps an already-maintained property on schedule. If your property has gotten overgrown and needs a deeper first pass, start with a property reset, then move into a seasonal plan.
